We are happy to announce that BoVir (Lymantria dispar NPV) has been approved for aerial and ground applications for the control of gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar)
BoVir is a great addition to Lymantria dispar management as it is not harmful to humans or the environment, including pollinators and other lepidopterans. Due to its unique mode of action, BoVir is an important resistance management tool which can be included in any integrated pest management program (IPM) It is also a key product as it does not harm any beneficial insects that may be in the treatment areas.
