LECONTE VIRUS

Suspension Concentrate Insecticide

Pest

Redheaded pine sawfly (Neodiprion lecontei) is native to North America and occurs throughout  the eastern United States, west to the Great Plains and in southeastern Canada. This invasive pest feeds on mugo, red, jack, scotch and many other different species of pines.

Suppression efforts with Leconte Virus are necessary in order to manage the redheaded pine sawfly and to protect natural resources as well as forest integrity. The product can be applied from ground or by air and as with all baculoviridae, only the target species is affected.
